The Making of the SYRO-MALABAR HIERARCHY: A HISTORICAL STUDY (1896-1923)

Rev. Dr. Raphael Ambadan is a priest of the Diocese of Irinjalakuda, Kerala, India and currently serves the Syro-Malabar migrant community in the United States. A historian and teacher, he holds a Doctorate in Church History from the Pontifical Gregorian University, Rome, and a Master's in Patristic Theology from the Patristic Institute Augustinianum, Rome. He has taught Church History and Patrology in seminaries throughout India. His work centers on the history of the Church, patristic theology, and the heritage of the Syro-Malabar Church.
