Today it is important that we know more about the spiritual and religious traditions not our own. The discovery of new spiritual foundations upon which "world culture" and "world history" may be built is contingent upon a dialogue between world religions and cultures. Short of deep mutual understanding among world religions and cultures a harmonious global society can never be built. True spirituality must seek, not only the personal transformation of the individual, but also the social transformation of humankind. This book is aimed to contribute to such a transformation. The author tries to look at different trends in spirituality existing among various religions as well as continents. Felix Podimattam OFM Cap.
