The Star of the East The present book, The Star of the East, introduces the reader to a unique breakthrough in integral" counseling and psychotherapy. This unique breakthrough is the discovery of Awareness Meditative Relaxation (AMR) as a powerful therapeutic tool for integral human liberation. This therapeutic procedure makes use of the wisdom of the east and west that whatever happens to the inner world or the outer world has a profound effect on the body as sensations. In general a person craves for pleasant sensations and tends to avoid unpleasant sensations. These are the root manifestations of the false ego bringing about stress in the body.
