He is the author of two collections of poems, Once Back Home and A Tapestry of Steps and one of translations, Bajubreehi. His latest book is The Poetry of Jayanta Mahapatra: A Critical Study. His poems have appeared in many journals, including Critical Quarterly, Contemporary Review, the Kenyon Review and Ariel. Presently he is Managing Editor of Chandrabhaga, one of the foremost literary periodicals in the country. He lives in Bhubaneswar.
